Sourdough french toasts

A simple, quick, and vanilla recipe to use your slices of sourdough bread (or not)!
Temps de préparation 10 minutes
Temps de cuisson 8 minutes
Pour 8 slices

Ingrédients

  • 6 to 8 slices of bread
  • 250 ml of milk
  • 30 g of honey
  • 3 eggs
  • 5 ml of vanilla extract
  • a little butter

Instructions

  • In a bowl: mix all the ingredients together with a whisk.
  • Cut 6 to 8 slices of bread (see the sourdough sandwich bread recipe).
  • Quickly dip the slices of bread in the bowl.
  • In a pan, melt a little butter and then cook the slices of bread, about 1 minute on each side.
  • Serve immediately hot.
